This module will cover the basics of preparing and injecting an acupoint. Detailed information is given on the selection of supplies, materials handling, types of injections, and how to select and inject a body location. With the correct application of the techniques contained in this module, combined with clinical experience, a clinician will be better able to determine the most accurate injection approach and apply the techniques that will yield the best results.
Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this course you will be able to identify an injection location, properly prepare an injection site, and determine proper needle type and size based on therapeutic goals and local anatomy.
