AcuInjection® Online!

 Although theory is important, the importance of technique—using both filiform (acupuncture) and injection needles—is emphasized to ensure that AcuInjection® practitioners can appropriately apply any theoretical approach with skill and confidence.

The AcuInjection® program is designed for doctors and therapists who have busy practices and complex schedules.  The program is composed of a hybrid teaching approach that includes online study programs and a hands-on laboratory demonstrations.  The online component allows practitioners to study material in the convenience of their home or office without the expense and burden of travel and classroom attendance.  The laboratory demonstration component enables practitioners to maximize their time spent on clinical application and skill development under the guidance of highly qualified instructors.

• AcuInjection® courses are approved by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) for Professional Development Activity (PDA) point. To receive PDA points Diplomates must be licensed to practice in a state that approves injection therapy within their acupuncture scope of practice.
• Injection Therapy is approved for Acupuncturists under Colorado Acupuncture Licensure. Injection therapy is not an entry-level technique and the state of Colorado requires acupuncturists to obtain the necessary training prior to performing injection therapy. (Policy Number 30-1).
• The Department of Regulatory Agencies, state of Colorado, has declared that the AcuInjection® program fulfills Colorado's training requirements for acupuncturists to perform injection therapy. (Issued by Memorandum by the Program Director of Acupuncture Licensure, February 8th 2006).
